Z customers love our food and beverage range and this role plays a key part in ensuring supporting the delivery of our products including bakery, sandwiches, coffee and more. Working with a team of Category Managers you will be the first point of contact for our vendors and suppliers and the go-to person for enquiries about our various food and beverage categories within the wider team.

**You will have the opportunity to**
- Deliver customer focused strategy through management of product, price, promotion and placement
- Manage implementation, compliance, files and price management food and coffee categories
- Build and maintain supplier and vendor relationships
- Provide input and support to your manager regarding all relevant supplier activity
- Manage the yearly and monthly promotional plans
- Creation of store communication and notices for the weekly and monthly newsletter
- Ability to answer customer queries relating to the department
- Provide administrative support to the Category team as required

**Qualifications**

**What you’ll bring to Z**
- Experience in the food service industry is key ideally within a quick service retail (QSR environment)
- Experience as a Category Assistant
- Awareness of food safety and legal obligations
- Demonstrated experience in an administration, support and coordination role
- The ability to build and manage positive relationships with stakeholders
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills
- Ability to think commercially to identify and deliver on growth opportunities

The indicative base salary range for this role is $71,740 to $80,000 per annum, plus 10% bonus based on company performance, a 5% KiwiSaver employer contribution and health insurance through Southern Cross.
