About the person
**We are looking for someone with the following**:
- Hydraulic hose experience (preferable).
- Ideally a qualification in an appropriate and relevant discipline such as automotive mechanics or at least three years experience in a similar role, preferably in an industrial sector
- The ability to self-manage and to self-motivate
- The ability and willingness to undertake on-call work
- Able to troubleshoot hydraulic and related mechanical engineering problems effectively
- Effective communicator with the confidence to deal with clients and build trusted relationships
You must also be comfortable to undertake manual handling duties, including physical lifting

Hydraulink Tauranga Ltd is a one-stop shop for all your Hose, Fitting, Hydraulic Supply, Design, Filtration, Engineering & Pneumatic requirements.
We operate throughout the Tauranga region providing a 7 Day 24 Hour Service.
Hydraulink shares premises with Metal Technology Ltd, which is a jobbing engineering workshop specialising in ‘one-off’ engineering tasks including machining hydraulic items, including spears for Hydraulic Rams.
Please note - applicants MUST HAVE Residency or Citizenship for New Zealand as well as a current driver's license.
A pre-employment medical (including drug and alcohol screen) check will form part of our recruitment process.
