We are looking for Mechanical Fitters for our busy automotive business in Auckland. This is a full-time permanent position and will consist of operating and maintaining machinery used to construct or modify car parts and componants.

To be considered for this position you’ll have some previous experience in a similar industry or position and have experience in the operation and maintenance of machinery. However, we are willing to train a suitable person for this position, even if you don't have experience. You should have excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) and be able to work independently to reach goals. You must be able to multitask and will be able to complete work in set time frames.

You will be also expected to perform tasks such as operating and maintaining our workshop machinery including power tools, diagnostic equipment and hand tools, completing repair work and assisting in the procurement of new machinery, completing paperwork as required and ensuring the highest quality of work possible. You will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery.

- The ability to work independently and without supervision
- Ability to use a computer and basic programs like Microsoft word and excel is also beneficial.

This is a full time and permanent position offering at least 30 hours per week. We are offering a minimum payrate of $29.66 and a maximum of $35 for this position.
