Our client is a New Zealand owned business who have been supplying the food industry for over 60 years. They big players in their market and they have created a loyal and significant customer base that includes multi-nationals, specialist manufacturers and small businesses located throughout New Zealand and the Asia Pacific region. They are in a high growth phase and are looking to add a Shipping & Stock Coordinator to their team as part of their overall growth strategy.

**The Role**

Reporting to the Procurement Manager you will have overall responsibility for the monitoring, co-ordination and receipt of international shipments, local ingredients and the management of stock across NZ locations.

You will assist in facilitating and growing sales, and ensuring internal service levels are met and exceeded to provide the best possible customer experience. You will work closely with the sales & logistics teams, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of customer’s shipments. Responsibilities include processing quotes, creating orders, and liaising with suppliers and customers.

- Excellent customer service, (ideally within the freight industry in both air and sea freight, import and export, but not essential)
- Fantastic problem solving ability
- Able to work to deadlines
