**About the role**:
**NOTE: This is as 9-month fixed-term role**

Supporting the Group Financial Accounting Manager, you will be a lead member of the Financial Accounting team. Collaborating with various parts of the group and serving as the finance contact for subsidiaries and associates outside our internal finance function. You will play a crucial role in delivering accurate, relevant and timely group reporting and treasury reporting outcomes.

Additionally, you will manage the group’s R&D tax credit claims, provide support as required for the group climate related reporting outputs, and provide input and oversight of the group’s impairment testing.

**About you**:
You’re an effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a knack for problem solving, complemented by sound analytical abilities. As a CAANZ member with at least 5 years of accounting experience, you possess a solid understanding of accounting principles and concepts. You excel in report writing, understanding hedging and have broad knowledge in treasury accounting. Your advanced Excel skills, strong financial analysis experience and the capability to perform at a high level across all accounting functions make you a valuable asset to any financial team.
