**The Opportunity**:
We are currently seeking Technicians to join our Chemistry team based at Auckland laboratory, both Fixed Term and Permanent positions are available.
The successful applicants will be stationed in the Chemistry department and will be responsible for ensuring that sample tests are carried out using the correct methods within the agreed time frames. Additionally, once testing is complete, samples will need to be stored or disposed of in accordance with customer requirements.
The laboratory is open 7 days a week and shifts available include Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday to Thursday.
Your key duties will involve;
- Completing sample testing within the given turn-around-time (TAT)
- Strictly adhere to all laboratory and regulatory quality assurance procedures
- Ensuring all relevant records are kept up to date at all times
- Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
- Participate and contribute to working safely
- Be actively involved in all the day to day improvement activities
Flexibility to work additional days or overtime would be ideal as our laboratory operates 7 days a week.
**About you**:
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Graduated with a Bachelor of Science, with a focus on Chemistry.
- You can hit the ground running, so those with direct experience in Chemistry will be at an advantage.
- Previous work experience in a fast paced and high pressure environment will also be beneficial to your success in getting this role.
- Team player that can remain focused while doing repetitive tasks and cope with regularly changing priorities.
- Excellent attention to detail coupled with fantastic time management skills will see you do well in the AsureQuality environment.
