**Architectural Designer /Draftsperson (Graduates/Intermediate)-Albany**

VIKON Design is currently seeking a Designer / Draftsperson to join its team. This suit graduates/junior or intermediate draftspersons who wish to step up from their current roles and take on more responsibilities.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Site visits and customer consultations with sales team
- Deliver customer briefing sessions and produce concept designs
- Develop creative design ideas and collaborate with construction management teams to meet build ability and cost budgeting requirements
- Supervise junior designers, peer review design by others and uphold company design standards

**Your skills and abilities**:

- Proficient in computer drafting software
- Experience in Autodesk Revit is a plus but not essential
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines
- Excellent communication and great problem solving skills
- Creative, precise and efficient
- Systematic knowledge of NZ building codes, standards, and construction methods
- A valid New Zealand working permit (WorkVisa/PR/Citizen)
- Holding a valid and clean New Zealand driving license
