**About MASH Trust**:

- MASH Trust provides a wide range of support services for people with Mental Health, Intellectual or Physical Disability or Illness, Alcohol and Addiction and Youth Respite Care_
- These services are offered either at the residential homes we support, or people who require support in their own homes, or in the community._
- MASH operates throughout the lower North Island in the Hawkes Bay, Wellington, Kapiti, Horowhenua, and Manawatu regions._

**The Role**:

- As a Support Worker you will be working across our Disability Service. You will be providing support to people to ensure a meaningful life, a quality home environment, and encouraging full participation in all aspects of community daily life.

- We have two part-time time 65 hour per fortnight positions available as a POOL staff member working across a number of houses in our Disability Service.
- The positions are available immediately and you must have availability to a variety of shifts including days/sleepovers, including public holidays.
- A POOL staff member is a staff member that works in a variety of homes covering all of the gaps that we have available due to annual leave and training. This position means your shift pattern may change from week to week, but you are provided your schedule of 60 hours at least a fortnight in advance. You must be available to work both AM and PM shifts, weekdays, and weekends.

**You will have/be**:

- A relevant qualification and/or experience working within the Disability or Mental Health Sector is preferable.
- Comfortable with completing personal cares such as - assisting with showering, dressing and getting our people in and out of bed.
- Hold a current full driver license as you will be required to drive a van as part of your day to day job.
- The ability to take pride in a healthy home environment - including cleaning, meal preparation and shopping.
- Eligible to work in New Zealand
- Caring and Kind in nature with integrity that can provide support to those from all walks of life.
