Our district includes Manawatu, Horowhenua, and Otaki districts on the western coast to the Tararua district on the eastern coast. With a capacity of over 380 beds, we provide secondary care to an urban population of 85,000 and over 200,000 in the catchment area. **The Opportunity**
Work in a structured teams supported by SET trainees and consultants to improve your diagnostic and surgical skills whilst increasing your experience in all aspect of surgical care.
MidCentral District provides an excellent grounding for General Surgical Registrars looking to grow and develop their skills. As a provider of tertiary cancer services MidCentral undertakes a range of complex surgeries with superb learning opportunities as well as hands on operating time and outpatient clinics.
