Come and join our team to work across a range of topics including: air quality, iwi, biodiversity, hazards, coastal and freshwater. Key focus areas for this role include leading the coastal hazards portfolio and engaging in the development of our climate change response. - About you_ You will have regional policy planning experience working with the Resource Management Act. Your experience will complement your written and verbal communication skills and ability to work autonomously. You will actively engage with the Nelson community and present clear information and feedback to Council. If you have broad experience in policy analysis, resource management and plan writing, along with a customer focussed approach towards public consultation and have successfully applied public engagement methodologies then we want to hear from you. We are also looking for someone who is passionate about coaching others to grow their planning expertise and who holds a minimum of an under graduate degree in a related field (e.g Resource Management, planning or climate change). - What we offer_ In return for bringing your skills, knowledge, and experience to us, you’ll be rewarded with a comprehensive remuneration package based on your level of experience (salary, KiwiSaver, relocation assistance, and more), generous leave provisions and ongoing personal and professional development in an inclusive and supportive work environment.
