About the role He Aha Te Tūranga
This role oversees the ongoing expansion and maintenance of nib’s First Choice network, and works across the business, developing a better outcome for our members.
You will be working with a portfolio of health partners (including private hospitals), promoting nib benefits, negotiating pricing and conditions, and creating and reviewing analytical reports.
This includes:
- Liaising with multiple stakeholders both internally and externally, building relationships, assessing health services, and analysing cost.- Collecting and interpreting data across nib’s providers to enhance the First Choice Network (FCN).- Leading a small team to who share a similar passion and collaborate to achieve shared KPI’s and outcomes.
About you Ko Wai Koe
You are a health sector expert who has knowledge of private health insurance. In addition to this your skills and experience include:
- Strong analytical skills and computer literacy.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.- A high level of attention to detail and excellent time management.- The ability to work as part of a team and positively influence and lead others.- The ability to take ownership of problems and make sound decisions.- Preferably you have previously held a clinical role or similar which has given you extensive knowledge and understanding of the health industry.
