Our people drive our business, literally Whilst you won't be on the road, you will be responsible for ensuring a high level of focus across our Auckland Operations to ensure an efficient, effective and well-organised operation is maintained at all times. Assisting and overseeing all operations during your shift to ensure customer satisfaction, growth, and projected profit levels are met. **What would you be doing?** - Manage shift activities, tasks and responsibilities for all Auckland Operation - Foster and maintain sound team philosophies and develop an "In it together" culture of teamwork, accountability and ownership - Take an active part in the daily/weekly management and development of the Auckland Operations team's rosters - Monitor and ensure all operational compliance processes are documented and adhered to by all team members - Load Planning, in conjunction with other Shift Managers is completed to maximise loadings and efficient running, meeting customer delivery expectations - Ensure clients' goods are managed from acceptance to point of delivery - Ensure trailer temperature monitoring of all product and loaded units takes place - Remain compliant with all legislative requirements, including but not limited to weights, lengths and 'H' permit requirements **What you'll need to be brilliant**: - Minimum of 5 years previous experience in a similar role within a transport/warehousing, distribution or transport environment - 2+ years at manager/team leader level in a similar business - Knowledge of transport management systems.
