The Monitoring Agency Relationships team responds to requests for information and supports complaints investigations from a range of external monitoring organisations. On any given day the team may be interacting with the Office of the Ombudsman, the Privacy Commission, the Human Rights Commission, or the Health and Disability Commission. As an Adviser, Monitoring Agency Relationships, you'll act as a super sleuth, consulting across the Department's multiple sites, asking questions, joining dots, identifying solutions and analysing information from internal and external stakeholders. Having gathered all relevant information, your excellent writing skills come to the fore as you provide an official departmental response to correspondence.

He kōrero mōu | About you
Ideal applicants will have experience writing official correspondence including working with the Official Information Act or Privacy Act, or experience working in one or more of the organisations mentioned above.

- Knowledge of relevant legislation, especially the Official Information Act and Privacy Act

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Utu ā-tau | Salary
The midpoint of the salary range is $78,130 and the full range (85%-120%) is $66,411 - $93,756. Appointment and remuneration will reflect skills and experience relevant to the role.
