**Job Description**:
Four Square Wainui Road is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Butcher to join our

processing meat and arranging meat for sale, ensuring high standards of quality,

hygiene, and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cut, prepare and display a wide range of top-quality meats for customers.
- Operate Butchery equipment such as Mincer, bandsaw, wrapper safely and

efficiently.

- Monitor food stock and assist in ordering supplies to maintain adequate

inventory levels.

- Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized department environment at all times.
- Follow food safety regulations and in-house protocols, including proper storage,

handling, and labelling of food.

- Ensure all food items are presented and packaged attractively for retail sale.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to meet daily production targets and

customer demands.

- May assist in training junior staff or apprentice as needed.

Skills and Experience Required:

- Minimum of 1 years of experience as a butcher in a New Zealand commercial

butchery or similar food preparation environment.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with mínimal supervision.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public

holidays.

Qualifications:

- Relevant butchery qualification or equivalent experience preferred.
- Food Safety Certificate preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Employment Type:
Full-Time (minimum 40 hours/week). No commission or Bonus included.

Pay rate
- $30.00 to $32.00per hour
