Fish and Meat Process Worker

At Karyen Limited, we pride ourselves on delivering the finest quality seafood and meat products to our customers. We are currently seeking 2 dedicated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as fish and meat processing workers. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our commitment to quality and customer satisfaction.
Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
1. Operating equipment to clean, dry, and process frozen food items
2. Cutting or filleting fish and meat to meet size requirements
3. Grading, packing, and weighing fish and meat products
4. Maintaining processing machinery and other equipment, such as knives
5. Cleaning processing areas and packing lines with hot water or sanitizing chemicals
6. Conducting hygiene and quality control checks
7. Assisting fellow team members in their assigned responsibilities
8. Ensuring timely completion of assigned duties
9. Adhering to safety procedures and supervisor's instructions for equipment operation
10. Recommending process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and safety
11. Monitoring and adjusting temperature and humidity levels in storage areas
12. Preparing products for further processing, such as marinating or smoking
13. Loading and unloading shipments of raw materials and finished products
14. Labelling packages with product information, including weight, type, and expiration date
**Salary**: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
