We are currently looking for a Meat Packer to join our Butchery team. This is a full time, permanent role offering 30-35 hours per week over five days including a weekend day.

Your tasks will include:

- preparing meat products for sale
- ensuring that all meat displayed is well presented, wrapped and labelled,
- ensuring meat cases are appropriately stocked
- assisting with customer enquiries
- ensuring food safety and compliance procedures are followed
- ideally have previous meat packing experience and demonstrated knowledge of butchery equipment and products
- have the ability to handle heavy lifting and cold temperatures in the meat preparation area
- be customer focused with an eye for detail and commitment to delivering a superior customer experience
- ideally have knowledge and experience of food safety and compliance in a meat processing environment
