**About the opportunity**:
We are currently seeking motivated and energetic individual who is looking for a permanent opportunity to work as a Storeperson based at our Yoplait site in Palmerston North. Reporting to the Production & Procurement Manager, you will be an integral member of the Yoplait Manufacturing function.

**Opportunities currently exist for**:
Full time permanent
- Availability required to work rotational shifts of 0500-1300, 2000-0400 and 1100-1900.
- Starting rate of $27.67/hr + allowances.

**Responsibilities include**:

- Efficiently and safely loading/unloading trucks
- Ensure plant is supplied with the required ingredients and packaging at the right times.
- Stock takes
- Batch control
- Full Inventory process
- Demonstrate Safe methods of work
- Labelling, putaway and good receipt
- Space utilisations, including warehouse layout knowledge
- Forklift license required
- Pallet management

**To be successful in this role you will need**:

- Experience in a fast paced FMCG environment ideally within the food industry
- Current forklift licence is desirable
- SAP Knowledge
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Be able to work unsupervised & in a team environment
- Excellent communication skills - listening, verbal and written
- Thorough understanding of safety, health and environment as well as HACCP
