We need two Kitchen Hand to join our business.

**Responsibilities**:
Assisting with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling and chopping vegetables

Cleaning and cutting meat

Assisting measuring and mixing ingredients

Running food orders to the dining area or packaging takeout orders

Labelling and storing ingredients and prepared dishes

Monitoring inventory levels and notifying the chef/cook when supplies are running low

Handling cash and operating a cash register if needed

Assisting with catering events and setting up for large parties or functions

Restocking napkins, and other dining supplies

Checking and recording food temperatures to ensure food safety

Undertake inventory counts and checking expiration dates

Assisting with dishwashing and maintaining a clean and organized dishwashing area.

Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, utensils, and dishes

Sweeping, mopping, and taking out the trash

Preparing and setting up ingredients for the chef/cook to use

Stocking and organizing inventory, such as food and cleaning supplies

Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen workspace

Handling deliveries and unloading supplies

Washing and sanitizing kitchen surfaces and floors

Ensuring that all health and safety regulations are being followed in the kitchen

Supporting chefs and cooks in various tasks as needed

**Requirements**:

- Prior experience as a Kitchen Hand, preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for long periods of time

- Ability to multi task and work well in a busy environment
- Presentable & good personal hygiene
- Must be honest and reliable
- Must have a positive and professional manner
- Proven ability to work under pressure
- Excellent time management skills
