**Working With the Best**

Based out of Auckland branch, this role focuses on the routine maintenance and monitoring of existing Water Treatment Plants around the North Island, requiring daily travel to various sites and be comfortable with overnight stay in remote locations away from home. You will become more autonomous as your skills/knowledge develop and you must be comfortable working safely unsupervised.

**Responsibilities**:

- Install, service, and repair drinking water treatment systems, including filtration systems, disinfection equipment, pumps, valves, and other components.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks, inspections, and performance tests on water treatment systems to ensure optimal functionality and adherence to industry regulations.
- Ability to assist with the process mechanical installation
- Troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their specific needs, provide technical advice, and offer recommendations for improving system performance and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of service activities, including equipment maintenance logs, service reports, and client communication.
- Stay up-to-date with industry advancements, best practices, and regulatory changes to provide informed technical support and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
- Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on-site to prevent accidents and promote a safe work environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Service Technician, preferably in the drinking water industry or a similar field.
- Technical certification, trade or degree in a related field is desirable but not essential.
- Strong knowledge of drinking water treatment systems, including various filtration methods, disinfection techniques, and water quality parameters is also desirable but not essential.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a natural ability to troubleshoot.
- Exceptional customer service and communication and listening skills
- Attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
