Join us as a Project Payroll Systems Specialist and become an integral part of our Systems Project team. Under the guidance of the Group Payroll Manager, this is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity to be pivotal in shaping the future of our payroll systems. With a focus on delivering solutions and seamless user experiences, this hands-on role requires in-depth knowledge of pay-related systems, data flow, and reporting. Collaboration with users and stakeholders is key to our success.

As a Payroll Project Systems Specialist, you'll be immersed in a dynamic organisation embarking on a transformative journey to update its Payroll System. Having already upgraded to the latest version of our current pay system, the next phase involves implementing a modern cloud-based solution.

**This role is for a 12 month fixed-term.**

**About You - Te Rongoāto**

You possess specialized knowledge of payroll systems and technical proficiency in system design and database concepts, with experience in support, configuration, or implementation. Your strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, combined with a resilient, energetic, and results-driven approach, make you a valuable team member. You remain calm under pressure, collaborate effectively, and demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical abilities. With experience in NZ payroll legislation, you have a sound understanding of SQL databases and their relationship to payroll systems. Additionally, you have knowledge of Ceridian PSE Payroll systems, Datapay Cloud-based Payroll (Australia or New Zealand) or other similar Payroll systems. Having relevant tertiary qualifications, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and experience in HRIS/Payroll System Implementation/Upgrade Projects, as well as in Training and Development is desirable.
