We are looking for outgoing and friendly staff, to support our in various duties, including food preparation, cleaning, and dishwashing. Previous cooking or kitchen hand experience and some knowledge of traditional Chinese cuisine would be an advantage, but training will be given to the right Applicant.
**Responsibilities include**:
Assisting the cook with food preparation as required, including peeling and cutting vegetables and meats
Ensure that the kitchen is clean at all times, specifically, sanitise all food preparation areas in accordance with established standards of hygiene
Wash dishes, pots, and pans, and ensure that they are stored in the appropriate location
Assist with the unloading of delivered food supplies
Assist with inventory management, including checking stock levels and restocking supplies and transferring meal ingredients as directed by the Head Chef
Follow health and safety standards and regulations
Perform other duties as assigned by the head chef or kitchen manager
Have the ability to work in a fast-paced and kitchen environment
Be a team player and able to work under pressure
Be available to work nights and weekends
Full-time starting immediately. Minimum is 30 hours per week to be working from Monday to Sunday. Hourly wage of $29.66, with the possibility of overtime.
