**The role**
Reporting to the Maintenance & Planning Delivery Manager, you’ll be responsible for managing the forward work planning of the team and equipment resources to achieve delivery of the contract and commercial outcomes. This role will also see you:
- Manage and lead a crew to deliver works safely positively, effectively and efficiently
- Ensure that jobs are unit rated and priced correctly
- Provide guidance on interpreting technical drawings and standards as required
- Perform competent audits and quality checks
- Effectively manage people and productivity within your team and department
- Supervise field staff onsite by ensuring they are competent and confident to deliver their work
- Provide guidance and technical expertise to drive team performance and ensure staff is getting training and development as required

**About you**
Ideally you’ll be an experienced supervisor with proven experience in building effective teams, has the ability to organise and plan own workload while delivering positive outcomes without compromising health and safety.
- Ideally you’ll have:
- Experience in working within High Voltage Substations advantageous.
- Full clean Class 1 driver’s licence
- Current practising licence as an Electrician and EWRB registration
- Knowledge of relevant Codes of Practice, Policies, Standards, Work Procedures, Legislative requirements and the relevant Parts of the Safety Manual - Electricity Industry (SE-MI)
- Strong interpersonal skills and experience working in a multi-cultural environment
- A strategic thinker with the ability to solve problems and make decisions
- Ability to motivate and influence others while demonstrating integrity and trust
