Despatch Coordinator

As the Despatch Coordinator at CARTERS Rotorua, you will plan, coordinate and control the despatch of building materials to construction sites in the region, ensuring we deliver on our sales promises to our valued trade customers.
- Plan and coordinate the day-to-day transportation schedules for our truck drivers
- Ensure all delivery documentation is completed
- Identifying the right products quickly and efficiently while ensuring we deliver the best quality of service, on time and correct to each customer
- Perform ongoing monitoring and actions in relation to our delivery vehicles
- Uphold the high safety standards of the timber site, predominantly with issues related to transportation

**About you**
- Prior experience in a siimilar role
- Strong local geographical knowledge to plan efficient delivery routes
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong organisational skills and multi-tasking skills are essential
- A team player with the right attitude
- A real people person with a natural talent for building trust and rapport with our customers
- Strong computer skills
- Building industry knowledge is advantageous
