This newly created role of
**Graduate Site Engineer **with Tauranga-based Bridge It NZ Ltd will suit a recently graduated Engineer wanting to move into the civil sector, or someone looking to make a move from a hands-on construction role, ready to step up off the tools and into project management.
You will be based on-site (Monday to Friday), regularly staying away with the site team assembling bridges around New Zealand.
**Bridge It NZ Ltd** is a market leader in innovative bridge design and construction, with a proud record of building award-winning structures. They are specialists in small to medium-sized bridges suitable for council projects, subdivisions, farms, and forestry, and are committed to providing customers with a quality experience and superior bridge-building solutions.
The role of
**Site Engineer** supports the Site Supervisor and project management team with logistics, as well as performing engineering, scheduling, planning, and quality control functions. Adaptability is critical, as you will also play an important part in assisting with site surveys and basic Geotech investigations, supporting project management tasks, and hands-on working with the site team when required.
We want someone that can work at pace, with urgency, who has initiative, and is motivated by the opportunity to develop and take on a full Project Management role as the next career step.

**Position Requirements**:
- New Zealand Qualifications in Engineering (ideally Civil Engineering).
- Able to communicate at all levels - fluent written and spoken English is essential.
- Excellent numerical skills and proficiency using Microsoft Office.
- Energetic, willing, and can-do attitude.
- Attention to detail and quality, and strong organisation skills.
- Commitment to the process of continuous improvement.
- Ideally Tauranga based and available to work away on-site Monday to Friday.
- Must have NZ residency, citizenship, or current work visa to be considered.
