Ideally, you’ll have a few years’ experience working as a design estimator within the electricity distribution industry or you come from a strong practical field background and are looking to make the progression and change into an estimator position. A recent electrical engineering graduate with a minimum qualification at diploma level will have an advantage.
- Your right attitude, mindset, and willingness to learn will carry weight for success.
- We're looking for an individual who can demonstrate the following:
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Excellent communication, written and verbal
- A Full, clean NZ Driver’s licence
- MS Office suite with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
- Very good organisational, planning skills, and being mindful on safety, quality standards at all times
- Comfortable liaising with various people and departments in a multi-cultural environment
- High Attention to detail with accuracy
- Ability to be flexible when required
