We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional solutions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
As a Mechanical Engineering Technician at Hyperon Limited, you will:
Ø Prepare, interpret, and modify technical drawings, blueprints, and engineering designs to support mechanical installations for concrete pumping equipment.
Ø Assist in creating specifications and schematics for custom mechanical systems tailored to project requirements.
Ø Support the selection, assembly, and installation of mechanical equipment, including concrete pumps and related machinery, ensuring optimal performance and seamless integration into operations.
Ø Organize routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime, extend equipment lifecycle, and ensure uninterrupted operations.
Ø Conduct field and tests on equipment and materials to assess performance, quality, and regulatory compliance. Analyze test results to identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
Ø Ensure all mechanical systems and equipment adhere to relevant standards, specifications, and safety regulations. Collaborate with engineers to maintain certifications and compliance documentation.
Ø Assist in sourcing mechanical components and spare parts, monitor inventory levels, and liaise with suppliers to maintain timely repairs and replacements.
Ø Diagnose mechanical issues in concrete equipment, investigate failures, and develop cost-effective solutions while implementing preventative measures.
Ø Collaborate with different teams to enhance mechanical systems and operations, contributing to innovative solutions for concrete service projects.
**Key Requirements**:
- At least a diploma in mechanical engineering (or equivalent) OR at least three years of relevant work experience in mechanical systems.
- Solid understanding of mechanical engineering principles, tools, and techniques.
- Experience in technical documentation, interpreting drawings, and compliance testing.
- Practical knowledge of maintaining and repairing mechanical equipment, preferably in the construction or concrete industry.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challenges.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively in English; proficiency in Chinese is an advantage.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and industry standards.
