We are looking for a hard-working and adaptable individual who can support a range of tasks related to Mechanical Engineering, with a particular emphasis on providing excellent customer service. This is not a senior position but requires someone capable of working flexibly across multiple areas as needed.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Maintain, configure, and demonstrate the use of mechanical lab equipment, including the Euler Buckling of a Column, Pin Jointed Frameworks, TH3 Saturation Pressure, and HT10XC Heat Transfer, to ensure operational efficiency.
- Provide technical support in Mechanical Engineering, focusing on tribology, materials testing, surface roughness, fatigue testing, and related tasks.
- Work closely with students, staff and external clients to support teaching and research activities, ensuring they receive a positive and memorable experience.
- Enforce Health & Safety protocols in laboratory environments.
**What You Bring**:
- ** A tertiary qualification** (certificate, diploma, or degree) or **relevant experience working in an educational environment.**:
- Excellent **customer service** focus, with the ability to communicate clearly and patiently with staff and students.
- Strong **problem-solving skills** and the ability to think critically when tackling complex technical issues.
