Are you focused on achieving good outcomes, enabling people to participate in the planning system without barriers, be ready to challenge yourself and others to achieve the very best results?

**About the Role**:

- Providing robust planning and consenting advice on industrial, commercial & residential developments.
- Providing sound, expert and robust advice on the Resource Management Act and the District Plan.
- Developing partnerships within the organisation to meet customer needs and demonstrate a ‘customer first' culture within the team.
- Supporting and participating in the long term and annual planning processes for Council when required.

**About You**:

- A tertiary qualification in resource management planning or a similar related qualification.
- Able to demonstrate processing and decision-making competence in a wide range of consents.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Up to date knowledge of the Resource Management Act Legislation.
