**The Challenge**:
- Assist in the preparation of reports for Council.
- Develop knowledge and understanding of governing legislation for land use planning and other related legislation.
- Provide quality advice to customers and demonstrate a ‘customer first' culture within the team, and broader organisation.
**Your Skills**:
- A degree in Planning or allied discipline recognised by the New Zealand Planning Institute.
- Graduate membership of the NZPI.
- Knowledge of the principles of town planning and land development.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
- High level of attention to detail.
- A supportive team player with outstanding interpersonal skills.
This is a full-time permanent position with an indicative pay range of $60,000 to $70,000 per annum dependent on skills and experience.
