We - re looking for a
Pharmacy Technician to join our team on a permanent full-time basis in a new
Pharmacy Technician Informatics role. This is an exciting and varied
opportunity working within an experienced team who are all passionate about the
health and wellbeing of the Canterbury community.

Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Assistants and administrative

We are looking for
an enthusiastic technician with a good work ethic, enjoys working as part of a
team, has excellent interpersonal skills and a strong desire to learn. Previous
hospital experience is essential and previous work with the ePharmacy system is
preferred.
Ko wai koe | About You

**Your key tasks include**:

- Responsibility for the day to day maintenance of software used in the

delivery of Pharmacy services
- Training staff in the use of Pharmacy systems and development and
maintenance of staff training material
- Responsibility for identifying issues, problem solving and participation
in continuous improvement and quality initiatives
- Taking a lead role in the planning and implementation of version
upgrades for the systems
- Data collection, analysis, interpretation and reporting as required for
the Pharmacy Service and organisationYou will also be expected
to undertake core Pharmacy Technician duties such as dispensing inpatient and
outpatient medicines alongside the fluctuating demands of the informatics
tasks. In addition, you will
help with the provision of support to the Pharmacy Purchasing Officer during
periods of leave.

- Minimum

Level 5 Certificate in Pharmacy
- Minimum
two years hospital pharmacy experience
- Sound
computer literacy, previous work with ePharmacy is preferred
- Attention

to work independently, efficiently and balance service demands with planned
workload
- Good
