**About the role**

As a Test Lead you will be part of a high performing IT Testing practice, working in an open and encouraging culture. You will empower and build testing capability within Foodstuffs North Island (Foodies).

In this role you will research, assess, and learn new technologies, methodologies and frameworks and help implement them in practice. You will assist in strategic direction regarding QA practice implementation and development, working along highly supportive IT leadership team & the Test Practice Manager.

The successful applicant for this role will:

- Motivate and inspire the digital test team to deliver high quality products and test cycles.
- Implement processes which will ensure that Foodies QA Policy, standards & best practices are followed through the Customer Products department.
- Assist in ensuring that the latest tools and technologies for manual and automated testing, processes and development are used, to speed up repetitive testing and bring greater confidence in software releases.
- Be involved with people leadership - including performance management, coaching, development plans, driving team engagement and assisting in recruiting for the team when required
- Encourage &empower your team to build and maintain test automation capability

**About you**

You’ll be enthusiastic and passionate about testing and leadership, having Test Leadership experience and coordination in complex environments and projects. As well as being an experienced QA Lead / Manager, you will have:

- Experience with digital and IT software and associated tool sets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask and work through issues in a fast paced, complex, operational environment.
- Proven experience and coordination on complex projects and environments.
- A passion for software testing and able to keep up with the latest technology to contribute towards testing process improvements.
- People leadership, mentoring and line management experience
- Experience with SAP modules like **Finance, Procurement or Sales & Distribution**

Other desirable skills include:

- Experience in the FMCG environment.
- Understanding of the Fiori Apps
- Experience with Selenium, TOSCA or similar Automated testing tooling.
- Experience with Virtualization services
- Understanding of performance testing
