**Te Tūranga /About the role**:
Silver Fern Farms are looking for an experienced **Planner / Scheduler** who will be responsible for continuous development, rolling out and overseeing a centralised Road Map to schedule shutdowns annually, across all 14 sites nationally for our business.

You will interface with Operations and Maintenance staff to ensure the sites are ready and prepared at the specified timeframes based on business needs, and not only execute but ensure the close is run to deadline and on time frames set out, to ensure mínimal disruption to the site and production.

**Location**:
This role can be based out of Dunedin, Christchurch, Hawkes Bay, Taranaki or one of our larger processing sites.

**Ōu Pūkenga /About You**:
As a **Project/Shutdown Scheduler Specialist, **you will be a strong self-starter with excellent communication skills to maintain and develop relationships both up and down within our business and with external stakeholders.

You will a solid track record of delivery on time and a strong understanding of the needs of a large scale FMCG business - with a desire to implement change and encourage positive workflow that will see this programme leaving a legacy for the sites nationally.
- Experience of Shutdown Planning & Scheduling in a large scale/national capacity
- Proven experience working with multiple stakeholders internally and externally
- Exceptional organisational and time management ability & ability to communicate with multiple parties at any one time
- Strong analytical ability to solve challenges and create opportunities
- Knowledge of Engineering components and equipment
- Ability to travel nationally to meet the requirements of the position

**Locations you would be required to travel to**:

- Finegand (Balclutha)
- Pareora (Timaru)
- Belfast (Christchurch)
- Hokitika (West Coast)
- Takapau & Pacific (Hawkes Bay)

**Advantageous skills**:

- Previous experience in CMMS (MEX) desirable but not essential
- Proficiency at Using a Scheduling tool (Microsoft Project or Primavera P6) desirable
- A relevant trade's qualification and/or previous Maintenance Planning experience is preferred but not essential
