Payroll Officer
**The Company**
My client is an iconic company; a large NZ company that has multiple brands which most New Zealanders would associate with. This is a company that is more complex than one first thinks with lots of entities and service offerings. They have an engaging and supportive culture with a long tenured team who offer flexibility with hours and hybrid WFH.
**The Role**
The role of the Payroll Administrator sits in a wider team of 4 tenured Payroll Officers, and reports into the Payroll Manager. This role is multi-faceted, and you will get the opportunity to work across multiple entities where you will gain a real insight into the company's operations.
Your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Processing fortnightly payroll for 200 waged staff, across multiple entities of the business
- Managing timesheet process by coding and consolidating data into excel
- Co-ordinating roster information by partnering with managers across the business regarding timesheets, leave forms and reimbursements
- Managing new starts, terminations, leave and general queries
- Assisting with collating data for monthly reports
- Ad-hoc tasks as required
**Skills & Experience**
You will have a good understanding of the full Payroll function and understand NZ legislation, as well as having proven experience working as a Payroll Officer/Administrator.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for some flexibility within their working week, and someone who enjoys working in an established team environment. You will have excellent communication skills and be efficient on excel with the ability to pick up different processes and work within tight deadlines.
This is an opportunity to work with one of New Zealand's most recognisable brands and enabling you with the skills and tools to gain an understanding across multiple entities for a large business.
