RobLawMax has exclusively partnered with Wellington Water in the recruit of a Principal Stormwater Engineer for the Network Development & Delivery team who, develops an understanding of the performance of the 3 Waters network and what upgrades are needed to support growth, renewals or continued reliable service to customers.

Wellington Water is a trusted advisor to the region's Councils and partner with the community, engineering consultants and contractors to deliver drinking water, wastewater and storm water services from source to sea.

**About the role**:
The purpose of this role is to take a guiding role on network projects, supporting the team to carry them out and lending your technical expertise to complex issues. Acting as client project sponsor, you will ensure strategic outcomes are delivered. You will review work and provide technical guidance across the business and to the wider industry at a regional / national level.

**Other key responsibilities**:

- Project & investigation work
- Network performance assessments and reporting
- Provide sound technical advice across the business

**About you**:

- Relevant qualification in Civil or Environmental engineering
- Extensive work experience and recognised as an expert in Stormwater Engineering
- Experience in taking strategy and turning it into activities that deliver the right outcomes for the region
- Experience in mentoring and leading others
- Strong technical knowledge in Stormwater engineering, climate change resilience and adaptation
- Good understanding of structural and non
- structural green infrastructure solutions
