Job Description**
A Day In the Life at NPDL**:
As the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager, you will drive financial analysis and strategic support to business stakeholders. You are an integral part of the team, leading business-wide analysis to understand financial drivers, then communicate recommendations, trends and insights to senior management. This role is based in our Parnell office and you will have one direct report.

**Here are some activities you’ll do**:

- Drive consolidation of management financials for executive leadership, including monthly financial reports, quarterly forecasts, and annual budgets
- Lead development and execution of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts, focusing on underlying business drivers, key financial and operating metrics, and sensitivity analysis
- Mentor, provide direction, personal development and reinforce accountabilities to direct reports
- Ensures a high standard of performance management delivered, ensuring continuous improvement across all KPIs
- Develop long-term P&L and cash flow forecasts, preparing views for NPDL’s senior management team and Corporate finance and treasury team
- Develop and manage reports for forecasting, sales trends, and monthly financial results analysis, including presentation of financials to senior management
- Provide guidance to direct reports on analyst responsibilities, including preparation of monthly close and journal entries, monthly department-level financials with variance explanations, department-level forecasting and budgeting, and assessment of key business metrics
- Along with a few other responsibilities.

Qualifications**
Here’s what you’ll bring to the table**:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or a related field; MBA and/or CPA is preferred; understanding of GAAP standards and procedures is a benefit
- 8+ years of relevant experience in FP&A or related field
- Experience in shipping/logistics industry and/or one of the Big 4 firms is desirable
- Proven leadership skills and ability to adapt style to suit a variety of cultures and working styles
- Self-driven to achieve goals; high energy level is essential, dedicated work ethic
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills required Power BI experience
- Strong analytics and strategic thinking skills
- Collaborative team player, strong relationship-building, and active partnership with cross-functional teams
