**About this role**:
An exciting new opportunity for a role in our Geospatial Team has come about and we are excited to offer you the chance to be part of not only this great team working across our district, but also a great organisation. This critical role will be responsible for Geospatial data visualizations that enable data-driven decision-making. Your work will help drive data driven decisions that impact the lives of more than 85,000 people.

**What I do?**
- You will Implement and oversee spatial data management practices.
- You will Identify and resolve issues with GIS tools & systems.
- You will analyse and drive insights for our customers.
- You will Mentor GIS developers and perform code and report reviews.

**What I bring?**
- Creative mindset, ability to interpret and convert ideas into reality.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
- Attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively in a team to achieve joint objectives.
- 5-10+ years of experience in geospatial software development and architecture with advanced knowledge in Open-source software, TechOne Intramaps, ArcGIS, QGIS.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft SQL Spatial Databases, data management, analysis, and complex query writing.
- Experience in geospatial libraries (e.g., GDAL, ogr2ogr, Geoserver, PostGIS).
- Formal training in Geospatial Development tools & a Bachelor or Master's degree in computer science or Geospatial Technologies.
