Your Opportunity

As our Dispatcher you will manage the day-to-day processing of all inbound and outbound freight to ensure that we deliver high quality freight forwarding solutions to our customers in Auckland. You will be customer-focused, ensuring that all customer requirements are met, and revenue targets are achieved.

Your strengths will lie within your planning and delivery skills. You will be organised, provide attention to detail, be flexible and have the ability to change priorities at short notice.

What you’ll bring to this role

To be successful in this role, you could have the following experience:
Duties & Responsibilities
- Efficient use and allocation of fleet
- Effective communication with customers
- Resolve any internal & external customer issues and increase satisfaction levels
- Fleet, driver and dispatch management
- Manage compliance & fleet presentation requirements
- Administration, monitoring and Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reporting
- Assist with continuous improvement of KPIs
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety requirements
- Covering shifts if and when required

Skills & Experience
- Have a minimum of 3+ years' experience in the transport/logistics industry
- Knowledge of operational costing
- Proven ability in leading Health and Safety
- Forklift license including OSH
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods practice and procedure.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation, codes of practice and Transport law
- Geographical Knowledge of the North Island.
