As a **Quality Control Technician**, you will report to Quality Manager based in **Auckland, NZ**. You will conduct routine analyses and tests of several components of a quality control program. **Responsibilities** - Perform analysis and tests of samples of manufactured/intermediate products to verify conformity to specifications. - Records test results on batch tickets and in our computer operating system. - Manages quality records and retains of production/intermediate batches. - Ensure accuracy and integrity of tests. - Operate laboratory equipment and instruments. - Maintain housekeeping of the working place - Respect the Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Policy - Evaluates retains of production batches in response to quality complaints. - Performs 5S audits and other audits. - Support all Quality Control related One PPG initiatives. **Requirements**: - Bachelor’s degree (Quality, Engineering, or other sciences) or three or more years of related working experience in Manufacturing QC environment. - Fluent in written and spoken English language. - Chemical knowledge diploma or degree - Knowledge of laboratory test equipment - Office tools knowledge - ERP knowledge - Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Policy knowledge **About us**: **PPG: WE PROTECT AND BEAUTIFY THE WORLD** **The PPG Way** Every day at PPG: **We partner with customers to create mutual value.** We are insightful, dedicated, and proactive.
