**Social Media Intern**
We are looking for a someone to manage our Facebook page and assist with sourcing content for the posts, blog stories and newsletters.

You will be working from home and hours of work are flexible.

**Tasks and Duties**:

- Contacting members by phone to source anecdotal stories to back advocacy work with government in the Driving Education space
- Interviewing members for basic story details
- Drafting social media posts to back current government advocacy work
- Sourcing graphics for use with posts and website updates, including basic artwork creation using canva
- attending network communication meeting once a month via zoom.

Skills, experience, availability & resources

Applicants will;
- Be available to work 2-3 hours per week with the possibility of this being increased.
- Have social media experience in particular with Facebook
- Be working on a communications or marketing qualification and have excellent communication skills.
- Have their own computer and phone and access to the internet

Mentoring will be provided with a social media specialist to ensure that all messaging is in keeping with the work that we are doing, and full support and training of current systems will be provided.

- Your work will help us raise the profile of our group, educate community about the issues and assist to achieve our vision of a New Zealand where driver’s licenses are recognised for their social value, and are equitably accessible to all.
