Sales / Customer Service Rep

Based in Mount Wellington our client is after a Sales, Help desk, Production Star to join our Team.
Purpose of the position
**To support the company to grow by**:
- bringing in customers, developing business, and generating sales for our company by closing sales deals over the phone and maintaining effective customer relationships,
- enhancing our sales and customer satisfaction,
- providing excellent helpdesk support to our team and customers, and
- supporting our production needs by providing hands-on support during our busy season, and
- acting as back-up to the Management Team
**Requirements**:
**Telesales**:
- Effectively execute our telesales needs to meet company strategy and goals
- Contact potential or existing customers to inform them about our products using scripts
- Answer questions about our products or the company
- Ask questions to understand customer requirements and close sales
- Direct prospects to other relevant staff when needed
- Enter and update customer information in the database ensuring it is up to date at all times
- Take and process orders in an accurate manner
- Generate sales leads, going the “extra mile” to meet sales quota and facilitate future sales
- Meet all personal and company targets and call handling quotas. Target 30-40 outbound calls per hour.
- Keep records of calls and sales and note useful information
- Train others as required
- Actively keeps the Management Team informed of performance and customer needs as required
- Where required, support the Management Team to:
- Identify, develop and implement ways to improve our client retention processes and increase referrals
- Conduct surveys on customer response and behavior to improve strategies further
- Implement systems to reduce customer support issues and improve resolution speed and effectiveness
**Helpdesk**:
- Effectively manage our customer experience needs to meet company strategy and goals
- Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits and follow up to ensure resolution
- Identify, develop and implement opportunities to enhance the customer experience that empowers the customer, achieves customer satisfaction and enhances the business reputation
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication, and actively engaging with them
- Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
- Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents
- Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
- Walk customers through the problem-solving process.
- Provide technical assistance and support for incoming queries and issues related to computer systems and software
- Improve our support systems and documentation related to ongoing customer issues.
- Follow up with customers to ensure the issue has been resolved.
**Production**:
- Acts as back-up to the Management Team in their absence.
- Ensure we meet our production quality and lead-time guidelines
- Production requirements as needed to ensure our production goals are achieved by:
- manufacture of products to fulfil orders, includes both marketing and order based items
- packing customer orders, to ensure our customers product arrives on time
- coordinating, directing and training seasonal staff
Health and Safety
- Meet health and safety obligations for the business, ensuring personal safety for all employees
- Adhere to Health and Safety policies at all times
- Take personal responsibility for managing own safety and that of others
- Identify and promptly report any accidents, incidents and hazards in the workplace
- Wear prescribed personal protective equipment at all times as directed by the business
Miscellaneous
- Be a positive and motivating influence on the working environment
- Perform all duties professionally and in a timely manner, in line with the policies of the company
- Other duties reasonably within the capability of the employee may also be required from time to time.
- The employee’s duties may be altered following consultation with the employee
