Senior Payroll Specialist - Permanent

**Key responsibilities**:
- Provide day to day payroll support to your colleagues and Manager
- Run the pay on a fortnightly basis
- Ensuring all payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time each fortnight
- Identify and drive continuous improvements, support the stabilisation of payroll systems and processes.
- Support quality and assurance practices, audit requirements and team escalations
- Provide advice to your peers on payroll and relevant legislation matters
- Collaborate, share knowledge, and promote professional development
What skills, knowledge and experience you will bring?
- Proven experience and knowledge of payroll, payroll processes and relevant legislation.
- Proficient with HR/Payroll systems(Oracle HCM, iChris/Chris21 desirable), Microsoft Office, and Salesforce
- Experience with running pays on a fortnightly basis
- Experience in data management, 3rd party schedules and payroll reports
- High level of integrity and ability to handle confidential information
- The ability to work under pressure in a changing environment, adaptable and well organised
- The ability to train and coach peers in support of team development
