Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity
We are seeking a senior registered nurse to take on the fixed term position of Charge Nurse Manager - Ward M18 - Surgical assessment and review area & surgical short stay ward. This role is an exciting opportunity and requires a person who is motivated, dynamic and enthusiastic to lead and grow a team with excellent assessment and clinical skills. If you have excellent communication skills, are a team player and want a challenge, this could be the perfect position for you.

Mō tātou Ratonga | About our Service
Ward M18 has 16 inpatient beds alongside a 10 bed surgical assessment unit taking patients direct from ED triage. This model of care is supported by a team of dedicated and skilled nurses to assist and support the flow of patients from ED to inpatient wards or to be discharged home.

Required skills & experience you will need to be considered for this role:
- Knowledge and understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
- Designated Senior Nurse Experience, with proven leadership capability
- Demonstrated clinical expertise in a relevant specialty
- Demonstrated highly effective written and verbal communication.
- Quality Management and evidence of embedding this into clinical practice
- People management experience - performance management, conflict resolution and team building
- Post graduate qualification
