**Te Mahi**

Our nursing team collaborates with the wider Multidisciplinary Team to provide exceptional palliative care in South and Southeast Auckland. Specializing in palliative care excellence, we serve patients in Tōtara Hub and within the community, including patient homes and aged residential care. This role reports to the Director of Nursing and will have the opportunity to work closely with our senior leadership team.

As the Charge Nurse Manager (“CNM”), you will have a team of 44 FTE made up of dedicated professionals who advocate for our patients and their whānau. You will be overseeing clinical practices, ensuring continuous high standards in collaboration with your manager and senior professionals. Beyond clinical excellence, you will be responsible for operational and staff management, contributing to overall success of our holistic approach to palliative care services. You will continue to nurture the positive working environment we already have by providing support to our healthcare team.

**About You**
- Extensive clinical practice at a senior nursing level
- Proven leadership
- Relevant education and qualification for the role
- Ability to demonstrate cultural safety in the practise setting and able to communicate well with people from different cultural background
- Proven skills as a leader and a mentor
- Proven ability to effectively manage, plan and co-ordinate workload
- Clean NZ driver's licence - as this role may require you to travel around Auckland
