Services Site Manager

With the recent approval of the design and construct contract, we are seeking Services Site Manager to join our Te Kaha project team. The purpose of these roles will be to oversee day to day organisation of onsite construction resources, including subcontractors, and their various disciplines.

The key responsibilities of the positions will include:

- Proactively drive company safety, environment and quality policies, practices and procedures in compliance with Management Plans and OH&S legislative requirements to provide a safe workplace at all times.
- Monitor progress and quality of the works as it proceeds and report any concerns to Senior Site Manager / Project Manager.
- Maintain a network of services consultants and subcontractors.
- Keep abreast of technological innovations in the field of services engineering.
- Participate in the final handover of the Building; in particular manage the commissioning and submission of final documentation, as built documents, authority approvals, warranties, training and guarantees.
- In consultation with the Site Manager, allocate necessary site staff and resources and confirm that all the resources for the project will be available when required.
- Review the construction programme with the Site Manager, re-sequencing activities as necessary to achieve the programmed completion date.
- Ensure that the Company's policies and practices on safety, industrial relations and quality assurance are implemented and policed at the work face.
- Ensure quality and compliance with standards and contract documents.

**Qualifications**:
The incumbent in this role will require the following qualifications and experience:

- Degree/Diploma in building/construction, or other recognised tertiary or trade qualification in a construction related field.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering large building or infrastructure projects and managing services trades.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver results in a high pressure environment.
- Ability to communicate, influence and build effective relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously using initiative, sound reasoning, listening and decision making skills
