**The Opportunity**:
We're looking for a Junior Operator to join the Milk Treatment & Lactoferrin area of our Powder team for a 6-month fixed term period. You will learn and develop a range of plant and equipment operating skills and provide support and assistance to Plant & Senior Operators and other department staff in the manufacture of milk powder products. We will teach you a number of processes including plant operations, bar-coding, product sampling, managing quality control points, and hygiene standards to ensure you will be well-equipped to perform in the role. This is a great entry point into the dairy industry with a wide range of future career development options available.

Key attributes we are looking for include:

- The desire and ability to operate highly automated plant and systems (i.e. Packing, Driers, Evaporators etc)
- The ability to learn new plant & processes quickly
- Strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills and a focus on quality
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and good computer skills
- Excellent people skills and the ability to be able to work within a team and be a proactive/ constructive team member
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to use your initiative
