Junior Operator

Westland Milk Products is a well-known New Zealand end to end dairy manufacturer based in the beautiful South Island. We process over 700 million litres of milk a year and produce a wide range of consumer and foodservice products, and dairy ingredients. **The Opportunity**:
We are looking for what we call a Junior Operator to work in our Protein plant based in Hokitika. Junior Operators responsibilities may include operating the packing lines and performing product sampling in order to ensure all products are packed & sampled to the highest level without compromising quality. Junior Operators will also be responsible for maintaining clean plant and work areas and providing operational support to other areas when required, in addition to adhering to all quality and plant operational parameters.

We'll teach you various processes including quality control points, and hygiene standards and help you learn and develop a range of plant and equipment operating skills to ensure you will be well-equipped to perform in the role - and to develop further skills and progress a rewarding career within the dairy industry with Westland Milk.

This role works on a 4 on (2 days - 4.15am-4.30pm, 2 nights - 4.15pm-4.30am) 4 off shift basis which offers you lots of opportunity for time off, pursuing your passions and enjoying/exploring all that the region has to offer.
