We are seeking an experienced Solution Architects to join our dynamic team within the New Zealand Government sector. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing innovative solutions that enhance public services. You will leverage your expertise in Microsoft technologies to deliver scalable and secure systems that align with our strategic objectives.
- ; Design and implement enterprise-scale solutions using Microsoft Azure, Dynamics 365, M365, and Power Platform.
- ; Develop and maintain architectural documentation in alignment with government digital strategies.
- ; Ensure solutions comply with New Zealand Government cloud hosting, privacy, and security best practices, including NZISM and NIST standards.
- ; Identification of reusable architecture patterns across the agency as well as wider government sectors
- ; Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define architectural requirements and deliver robust solutions.
- ; Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.

- ; Several years' experience in Solutions Architecture with a history of successfully delivering ICT projects.
- ; Strong proficiency in Microsoft Azure, including services such as Azure Logic Apps and Azure Functions.
- ; Extensive experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI), and M365.
- ; In-depth understanding of identity and access management solutions, particularly Azure Active Directory.
- ; Understanding of Amazon Web Services is desirable.
- ; Familiarity with architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, ArchiMate.
- ; Experience in agile development environments and DevOps practices.
- ; Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

- ; A relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent knowledge, skills, and experience; and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- ; Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
- ; Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
