We are seeking an experienced and creative Organisational Design and Change Management Advisor to join our People and Capability team. This position directly contributes to helping to keep New Zealand and New Zealanders safe and secure. You will work across the NZIC providing a national service with colleagues who are diverse, talented, and committed individuals and are anything but ordinary. With exciting opportunities where curiosity and inquisitive minds are encouraged, the work you do with the NZIC will be like nothing you have ever done before.

**About the role**:
This newly created position will see you responsible for providing guidance and support in organisational design to enable the NZIC to get the best out of their people. You will work across the people and capability team and across agencies to enable managers to fulfil their strategic outcomes through excellent change management processes and high quality people outcomes.

**You will**:

- Support organisational design and change management and champion the benefits of it
- Work across the organisation to develop and implement consistent processes for organisational design
- Create, implement, and review plans for effective change management from design to implementation.
- Provide expert advice on org. and job design principles
- Educate managers and staff on managing change
- Collaborate with stakeholders to foster a change-resilient workforce
- Have demonstrable experience in change management strategy, implementation and delivery.
- Strong customer focus, interpersonal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and ideally have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
