**Te whiwhinga mahi | The Opportunity**
The Senior Data Quality Analyst is a member of the Data and Digital team, who have the collective accountability for maintaining and enhancing technology services and implementing and supporting Te Whatu Ora priorities.
As a Senior Data Quality Analyst, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the data used for reporting within our organization. Your responsibilities will be multifaceted, ranging from assessing data quality and setting standards to testing releases, monitoring quality metrics, conducting root cause analysis, and driving process improvements. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining the integrity of our data assets, ensuring that they are not only accurate but also reliable for decision-making and strategic planning.

To truly shine in this role, you will have a diverse range of technical skills and experience, particularly in large and complex data environments. Building strong relationships with peers, stakeholders and clients alike comes naturally to you and you enjoy working collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Your communication and relationship management skills is what truly sets you apart
Your experience and passion for information sharing, and mentoring others will be valuable as you provide technical leadership within the team. If you've got a background in big data and have dabbled in the use of machine learning and AI for monitoring data and detecting outliers, that's a big plus

**Ngā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experience**
- A relevant graduate and/or post-graduate qualification.
- Experience working with complex data warehouse environments and knowledge of a range of programming approaches.
- Experience in working in different data environments.
- Strong Data Analytics and IT skills in a variety of languages and environments.
- Experience in mentoring and training others.
