**About the role**

As Kiln Forklift Operator, you are responsible for the safe and timely transfer of the dry filleted timber from the colling sheds to the Drymill storage area. This is a key role ensuring a steady operation can occur in our Kiln and Drymill area. Through your duties you will ensure storage space is effectively used and store the product in a structure that supports production plans. You will work closely with other teams in the Drymill but will work independently on the forklift during your shift. Your main area of responsibility will be the Forklift. This role is based at our Whirinaki site, 15 minutes north of Napier.

This is a shift position, working 5 x 8 hour shifts per week, Monday - Friday. This is a two-week rotating roster, rotating weekly. 6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm. Some weekend work for product transfer may be necessary at times, this is paid at overtime rates.

**About you**
- Forklift experience is preferred
